Dr. Cinthia Byrd-Wolfe a native of Branchville SC received a bachelor’s of Social Work; a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling; a Master’s of Counseling Education; an Educational Specialist Degree and her Doctor of Education from South Carolina State University; and a Master’s in School Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.  Dr. Byrd-Wolfe has over 28 years of experience in counseling and education.  She recently accepted the position of Deputy Superintendent after serving as the Chief of Accountability & Administration for nearly five years in Calhoun County Public School District after serving as the principal of Calhoun County High School for nine years. 

 

Dr. Byrd-Wolfe has served on the Add-On Certificate and Endorsement Taskforce for “Teaching Children of Poverty”, the Governor’s Educator’s Panel, School To Work Advisory Board, the District Curriculum Team, and as an AdvancEd Review Team member.  She was also appointed to the Panel of Principals working with Inspiring Principals.  Dr. Byrd-Wolfe is currently the SCABSE@ Orangeburg/Calhoun Satellite President.  She serves on numerous boards and councils such as the Lower Savannah Regional Education Center Advisory Board, Calhoun County First Steps Board, SCSU MATTE Bridge Advisory Council, Calhoun Board of Disabilities and Special Needs Human Rights Committee, Sandy Run Ruritan Club and is a proud member of Orangeburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
